The moment I met Kara, I felt the instant connection and so wished to be a part of her wedding. Then, I met her groom, only to find out that we had known each other since elementary school! Some of my old classmates were his groomsmen, and it was just fate.
Kara, the gorgeous, glowing bride was such a pleasure to plan with. From the beginning she had a vision, and it was easy to execute once we got The Bloom Room on board for decor, linens and florals. Soft pinks, metallic grey, romance and fun- that was the vibe for the evening.
The day began with the bride and her bridesmaids spending an hour getting centered with a private yoga lesson, followed by hours of pampering and beauty with Sunkissed and Made Up- and a mimosa or two! After the romantic, loving and sweet ceremony, the couple set the tone for the evening with delicious signature cocktails, and a flowing room layout to encourage mingling. Photographer Nate Messara and his charming wife, Alex perfectly captured every single moment, not to mention my absolute favorite part of the evening- their conga line through the open concept photobooth, which was immediately previewed on a TV- live as it happened.
